| I have decided to make section with FAQ.Here are most popular questions that I got.Hope it will be useful for you) Where did you learn to draw/paint? I taught myself.It has taken me many years of practice.I've been drawing since I can remember.I just need somewhere to place fantasies that were inside my head,so I placed them onto paper.When I realised that fantasies were not enought and that I need to develop a good technique so that I can turn my hobby into job I started to take a small paper pad and pencils with me everywhere I went.I would draw everything that I saw - people,trees,clouds,buildings and etc.It really helped me to develop as an artist.I really advise this for all beginning artists. What materials do you use for traditional work?And what for digital? For traditional work : watercolour paint (Talens-Van Gogh) and pencils (Faber castell),pastel (Derwent), graphit pencils (Faber castel),acrylic.I also use pencils as Derwent Drawing,Derwent Inktense and Derwent Graphitint. For Digital work :Wacom intuos4 L size and Photoshop CS5 I make several sketches,choose the best one and then I'm coloring it. Do you do commissions?How much it costs? Yes,I do commission work (if I'm not very busy). Traditional work I like to work with A4 size the most.I work with pastel,watercolor,pencils and acrylic. Full picture with character(it can be imagine character or your photo (for example,you give me your photo and ask me to draw you like a princess or vampire or something else))and background in color(forest,castle,cemetery)+ 1-2 sketch - it's about $250-300. Only character without detailed background (only color on background - black,sepia,violet and others or simple things like moon or roses) it's about $120-150. Black-and-white work $50-70. Digital work Full picture with character and detailed background - $700-800 Only character without detailed background (only color on background) - $300 Black-and-white work - $100 I'm really interested in any job concerning to art, but especially in: - Gothic and dark fantasy painting - Cover artwork for music bands. - Book's covers - Illustration for websites,advertising,clothes and etc. - Tattoo design Do you sell originals of your work? In this moment all originals are sold Do you use your photos,models or references in your works? Yes,sometimes I do.Sometimes I draw myself, but it happens only when I'm in the mood to do something like that or I need it for something,for example I made a picture with me for my website.Sometimes I use references when I draw something that I don't know good enough,for example I'm not often draw wolves,so I need a reference to draw it right. Can you do a tutorial? I really want to make a tutorial!I know that it helps many people,but unfortunately I don't have a time to make it.I'm sorry.I'll made it one day,I hope. Can you draw an artwork for free? Unfortunately not,because this is what I do for a living, it's not just hobby.And also I need to buy materials (if it's a traditional work) and they are expensive enough.But I can make low price if it will be a really interesting project.Anyway, I'm always open for discussion. Your style reminds me to /insert the name of the artist/ I never wanted/want/will want to copy other artists.I just want to do what I like and what I can.Of course styles can be resemble when artists have the same inspiration of their favourite artists or themes, or they work with same materials and technique.All that doesn't mean that one of them is copying the other.I think every artist has his own personal touch. Are you model? I start modeling at the age 18, but very soon I understood that I can't be a standard, classic model..I hated castings,I didn't want to do that other people told me to do. So I finished it,but when I was 20 I understood that I want to shoot again but with my rules. So I started to try different images, do experiments, work with different photographers..and then I've started to get the business proposals from different companies and, yes,now I also work as alternative model. I want to talk with you in chat/skype/ICQ about life/weather/politics/lady gaga Please don't be offended but I have no time just to talk about something like my life or your life,weather and etc. I know many people think that if I have account on Facebook,Twitter and etc. I must talk with them in chat or in private messages "just like friend". I get 15-20 messages in day with "hi!" "let's talk" "I want to know you better" "what are you doing now" "answer me" and etc. And sometimes I miss important messages because of it. I'm very happy that people are interested with my personality and I always spend much time answering questions about my work, art or on comments and notes. It's very important for me.But I just can't talk about something with every person that wants it,because It will take forever.
